Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Increase heat and cook until the mixture reaches 240°F (115°C) on a candy thermometer.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
  4. Slowly pour the hot sugar mixture into the egg whites while continuing to beat.
  5. Add vanilla and beat until the mixture is cool and fluffy.
  6. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

For best results, ensure egg whites are at room temperature before whipping. You can add flavors or colors for variations.
