  • 1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cornbread mix
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish using either butter or non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamed corn, whole kernel corn, melted butter, honey, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, cornbread mix, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well combined, making sure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Once the mixture is ready, pour it into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to smooth the top so that it’s even. This helps the casserole cook uniformly.
  4. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and set. You’ll know it’s done when the top has a slight firmness and it’s not jiggly in the center.
