Description
A refreshing summer drink combining guava juice and white tea for a tropical twist on lemonade.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional, plus additional to taste)
- 1 bag white tea
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (plus additional for serving)
- 1 cup guava juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
Instructions
- Dissolve the honey (if using) in 1/2 cup of boiling water.
- Add the tea bag and allow it to steep for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, add 1/2 cup of ice to the measuring cup and allow the tea to continue steeping for an additional 10 minutes.
- Mix in the guava juice and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Place a generous amount of ice in one large or two small glasses.
- Pour the iced tea lemonade into the glasses and serve.
Notes
For a bolder guava flavor, use 1 1/4 cups of guava juice. Try freezing lemon slices or guava juice in ice trays for unique ice cubes.
