Description

Delicious Korean BBQ steak rice bowls featuring marinated beef, sautéed vegetables, and a spicy cream sauce, perfect for family gatherings or quiet dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef steak (sirloin or flank)
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef steak in soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, and honey for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill or pan-sear the steak over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked to desired doneness. Let it rest, then slice thinly.
  3. Sauté mixed vegetables in a separate pan until tender.
  4. Mix the ingredients for the spicy cream sauce in a bowl.
  5. Assemble by placing a serving of rice in a bowl, topping with sliced steak, sautéed vegetables, sliced green onions, and drizzling with the spicy cream sauce.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate the beef longer. Customize vegetable mix based on personal preference.
