Description

Delicious and vibrant rice bowls featuring marinated steak, kimchi, and a spicy cream sauce, bringing the flavors of Korean BBQ to your home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (your choice, sliced)
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar in a bowl. Marinate the sliced steak for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated steak to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest.
  3. In another bowl, prepare the spicy cream sauce by mixing mayonnaise, gochujang, and rice vinegar, adjusting the gochujang to your heat preference.
  4. Assemble the bowls by placing cooked rice, then the steak, kimchi, and drizzling with spicy cream sauce.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

To add variety, consider marinating the steak with garlic and ginger. Rinse rice before cooking for a fluffier texture.
