Description

A simple and delicious Korean Ground Beef Bowl featuring ground beef, soy sauce, aromatic garlic, and ginger served over rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
  2. Drain excess fat, if necessary.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over cooked rice.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Use a non-stick skillet for easy cleanup. Leftover rice works best for texture. Add vegetables or chili sauce for extra flavor.
