Ingredients
- Salmon fillets, 4 pieces (about 680 g)
- Maple syrup, 1/4 cup (60 ml)
- Dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons (30 g)
- Soy sauce, 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
- Lemon juice, 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
- Garlic, 4 cloves, minced
- Butter, 4 tablespoons (56 g)
- Fresh thyme, 1 tablespoon, chopped (15 g)
- Green beans, 1 pound (450 g)
- Olive oil, 1 tablespoon (15 ml)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and lemon juice.
- Season salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the maple Dijon mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until fully cooked.
- While the salmon is baking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add green beans to the skillet and toss to coat with garlic.
- Season green beans with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Cook the green beans for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp, stirring occasionally.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Stir in the chopped fresh thyme into the melted butter.
- Once the salmon is cooked, remove from the oven.
- Drizzle the thyme butter over the baked salmon fillets.
- Serve the maple Dijon salmon with garlic green beans on the side.
