Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: additional ketchup for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan.
  5. If desired, spread a thin layer of ketchup on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
