- 1.5 pounds 80/20 ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ cup ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease an 8×4 loaf pan or an 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the ketchup. Mix gently until everything is evenly distributed.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes if using a loaf pan, or 45–50 minutes if using an 8×8 dish.
- Remove from the oven and drain any excess grease.
- Spread the ketchup evenly over the top.
- Return the pan to the oven for an additional 5–10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Consider adding finely chopped vegetables like bell peppers or onions for added flavor. A meat thermometer ensures the loaf reaches a safe internal temperature.
