Description

A comforting and flavorful meatloaf recipe made without eggs, using simple ingredients for a moist and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds 80/20 ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease an 8×4 loaf pan or an 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the ketchup. Mix gently until everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 55–60 minutes if using a loaf pan, or 45–50 minutes if using an 8×8 dish.
  6. Remove from the oven and drain any excess grease.
  7. Spread the ketchup evenly over the top.
  8. Return the pan to the oven for an additional 5–10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  9. Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Consider adding finely chopped vegetables like bell peppers or onions for added flavor. A meat thermometer ensures the loaf reaches a safe internal temperature.
