Ingredients

- 8 ounces of pasta (choose your favorite type)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup of black olives, pitted and sliced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the cherry tomatoes and olives to the skillet, cooking for about 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- Stir in the cooked pasta, then add lemon juice and lemon zest. Mix everything well.
- Remove from heat, adding fresh basil and seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, and enjoy the fresh burst of flavors.
