Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta (choose your favorite type)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup of black olives, pitted and sliced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the cherry tomatoes and olives to the skillet, cooking for about 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
  4. Stir in the cooked pasta, then add lemon juice and lemon zest. Mix everything well.
  5. Remove from heat, adding fresh basil and seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm, and enjoy the fresh burst of flavors.

Notes
