- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 12 mini phyllo pastry shells
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped mushrooms to the skillet.
- Sauté mushrooms for about 5 minutes until soft.
- Add chopped spinach to the skillet.
- Cook spinach until wilted, about 2 minutes.
- Remove skillet from heat and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese to the egg mixture.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Stir in the cooked spinach and mushrooms.
- Arrange phyllo pastry shells on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the filling mixture into each pastry shell.
- Fill each shell to the top but avoid overfilling.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Check if quiche bites are set and lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
