- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 tsp butterfly pea tea (loose or in a teabag)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp honey (or to taste)
Instructions
- In a small pot, gently warm 1 cup of milk over medium heat. Avoid boiling; just let it get hot enough for steeping.
- Add 1 teaspoon of butterfly pea tea to the milk. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes until the milk turns a rich blue color. Strain the tea or remove the teabag once it’s steeped.
- Stir in 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of honey until both dissolve. Adjust honey to your preferred sweetness.
- (Optional): If you like a frothy texture, use a milk frother or whisk to create foam on top of the tea.
- Pour the Moon Milk Tea into your favorite cup, and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top for a cozy finish. Enjoy your soothing, blue-hued tea!
