Ingredients

  • 4 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin
  • Zest of 2 oranges
  • 1/2 cup diced cranberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the orange juice and zest.
  2. Stir in the sugar and scatter the fruit pectin over the mixture.
  3. Cook on medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for about 5-10 minutes until it thickens.
  5. If using, stir in the diced cranberries.
  6. Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal.
  7. Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes for long-term storage.

Notes

Allow jars to sit undisturbed for a tighter seal. Store in a cool, dark place for up to one year.
