Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the rib eye steaks with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in the skillet and add the garlic cloves.
- Add the rib eye steaks to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, depending on thickness.
- In the last minute of cooking, add sweet onions to the skillet to caramelize.
