Description

A delicious pan-seared ribeye steak, seasoned to perfection with garlic and thyme, creating a memorable dining experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ribeye steak
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Remove the ribeye steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil or butter in a frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic and thyme to the pan.
  5. Once the oil is shimmering, add the ribeye steak to the pan.
  6. Sear for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving it, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  7. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For the best results, allow the steak to rest after cooking to redistribute juices. Always monitor internal temperature for desired doneness.
