- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature

- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Wash, pit, and dice peaches into 1/2-inch cubes.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl.
- Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and yogurt.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in peaches and nuts.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing to wire rack.
