Description

A comforting dish marrying classic cheesesteak flavors with tender cheese tortellini, topped with gooey cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces cheese tortellini
  • 1 pound beef (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1 cup onions (sliced)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (provolone or mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in bell peppers and onions, and sauté until they are tender.
  4. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and mix well.
  5. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and cover the skillet until the cheese is melted.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using) to taste.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
