  • Soy sauce, 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s (30 milliliters)
  • Honey, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (20 grams)
  • Garlic, 2 cloves
  • Lime juice, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters)
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) (5 grams)
  • Black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) (1 gram)
  • Wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Cut the venison into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes.
  3. Mince the garlic cloves finely.
  4. Remove seeds from the habanero peppers and finely chop them.
  5. In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, chopped habaneros, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Add venison cubes to the marinade and mix to coat evenly.
  7. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to marinate.
  8. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  9. Thread the marinated venison cubes and pineapple chunks alternately onto the soaked skewers.
  10. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until venison is cooked through.
