Prosciutto, Pear and Brie Tarts

Description

Delightful tarts featuring prosciutto, pear, and brie, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g prosciutto, torn into strips
  • 1 brown pear, cut into matchsticks
  • 125g brie, cut into pieces about 5mm thick and 2cm long
  • 34 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C and lightly spray a tartlet tray with olive oil.
  2. Press squares of puff pastry gently into the moulds.
  3. Layer prosciutto strips in each tartlet shell, followed by matchstick slices of pear.
  4. Add pieces of brie atop the pear.
  5. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.
  6. Bake the tarts for 20-25 minutes until golden and crisp.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with fresh herbs and a small bowl of honey for dipping. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
