Perfectly crispy ranch-seasoned potato wedges made in the air fryer with 80% less oil than traditional frying methods. A quick, healthy side dish with irresistible flavor and crunch.

- 4 medium russet potatoes (approximately 2 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked paprika for extra flavor)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt (adjust based on the saltiness of your ranch seasoning)
- Optional: 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese for extra flavor
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Select firm russet potatoes of similar size. Scrub thoroughly under cold water, pat dry with paper towels. Cut each potato lengthwise into quarters, then cut each quarter in half to create 8 wedges per potato.
- Optional but recommended: Soak cut wedges in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain thoroughly and pat completely dry.
- In a large bowl, toss potato wedges with olive oil until evenly coated. In a small bowl, combine ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Sprinkle over oiled potatoes and toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3-5 minutes. Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange seasoned wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each piece. Cook in batches if necessary. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for an additional 8-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- If using parmesan cheese, sprinkle over wedges during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
