Ingredients
Scale
- 2 sheets of puff pastry (thawed)
- ½ cup raspberry seedless jam (or any flavor you love)
- ¼ cup flour
- 2 tbsp confectioner’s sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly flour your work surface to prevent sticking.
- Roll out the pastry into a 12 x 16 inch rectangle and cut it in half to create two rectangles.
- Spread ¼ cup of jam evenly on one rectangle.
- Place the second rectangle on top and press down lightly to seal.
- Cut the pastry into ½ inch width strips, then cut each strip in half lengthwise.
- Pinch the ends of each strip and twist them to create a spiral shape.
- Place the twists on the prepared baking sheet.
- Chill the twists in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let them cool on a wire rack and dust with confectioner’s sugar before serving, if desired.
Notes
Chill the twists before baking to help them hold their shape. Experiment with fillings like cream cheese or chocolate spread for variations.
