Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium-high heat, crumbling it as it cooks until uniformly brown.
- Drain the fat if needed, keeping some for richness.
- Layer the ingredients starting with the beef, followed by potatoes, onions, and celery.
- Add the canned kidney beans, corn, and diced tomatoes, including juices from the cans.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer the stew, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender and flavors meld.
Notes
