Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet of ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Mix together the cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, chicken broth, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
- If using, place butter on top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (4 hours), until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Shred the chicken in the gravy and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits.
Notes
For a thicker gravy, mix a spoonful of cornstarch with equal parts water and add during the last 20 minutes of cooking.
