Description

Classic Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes filled with flavors and easy to make, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
  • 16 ounces of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 6 slices of yellow cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Place the ground beef in the pan and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 6-8 minutes, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon until browned.
  3. Transfer the cooked beef to the slow cooker with the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Stir to combine well.
  5. Cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours.
  6. Spoon the meat onto the hamburger buns, top with a slice of cheese, then serve.
