- 2 cups self-rising flour

Instructions
- Melt the salted butter in your baking dish as your oven preheats to 350°F.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine 1 ½ cups of granulated sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, milk, self-rising flour, and vanilla extract. Mix well until completely combined.
- Pour this mixture into the baking dish over the melted butter without stirring.
- In another bowl, mix the remaining 2 cups of sugar and ½ cup of cocoa powder, then pour this gently over the batter in the baking dish without stirring.
- Carefully pour the boiling water over everything in the baking dish without stirring.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top appears set.
- Cool for 20 minutes before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
