Ingredients

- 2 pounds shrimp, deveined and shells on
- 1 pound blue crab, cleaned
- 1 pound mussels, cleaned
- 1 pound potatoes, halved
- 1 corn on the cob, cut into pieces
- 8 cups water
- 1/4 cup Cajun seasoning
- 2 lemons, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Bring eight cups of water to a boil in a large pot.
- Add Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, and salt to the boiling water.
- Add the halved potatoes and pieces of corn, cooking for about 10-15 minutes until the potatoes become tender.
- Once the potatoes soften, add the blue crab and mussels. Cook for an additional five minutes, allowing the mussels to open fully.
- Finally, introduce the shrimp, cooking for just another 3-5 minutes until the shrimp turns bright pink.
- When cooked, drain the water and transfer the seafood and vegetables to a serving platter.
- Garnish the gorgeous dish with lemon quarters and a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a beautiful presentation.
Notes
Serve with crusty bread to soak up the flavorful broth, and don’t forget the napkins!
