Description

A refreshing summer salad featuring crunchy cucumbers tossed in a zesty dressing with spicy chili and garlic.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Cucumbers
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes or 1 fresh Chili, chopped
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 Green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Slice cucumbers thinly and place them in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together minced garlic, chili flakes, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and sugar to make the dressing.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cucumbers and toss well.
  4. Allow it to marinate for at least 5 minutes.
  5. Serve topped with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For a uniform presentation, use a mandoline slicer for the cucumbers.
