Description

Crispy puff pastry filled with a creamy blend of spinach and cheeses, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg (for the filling)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and the egg. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the spinach mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush with egg wash for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Do not overfill the pastry. Consider pre-baking the spinach mixture for added flavor.
