Description
Sweet and sticky steak bites transform ordinary dinner nights into spectacular culinary experiences. This dish features tender beef marinated in a rich blend of soy sauce, honey, and garlic, creating a mouthwatering treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the steak pieces to the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade (reserve marinade for later) and cook the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until caramelized and cooked through.
- Pour the reserved marinade over the steak and cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
For even more flavor, marinate the steak overnight. Use a cast-iron skillet for better searing. Don’t forget to save leftover marinade for glazing during cooking.
