- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 apple, peeled and sliced
- 4 oz brie cheese, cut into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional: Honey for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares.
- In a bowl, mix the apple slices with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Place a slice of apple and a piece of brie cheese in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and pinch to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with honey before serving if desired.
