- 1 lb ground venison
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
- Sour cream, for serving
- Salsa, for serving
Instructions
- Heat a little olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened.
- Add the ground venison, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; cook until the venison is browned and cooked through.
- Place a tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half with shredded cheese, add a portion of the venison mixture, and fold the tortilla over.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the tortilla is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas.
- Cut into wedges and serve with sour cream and salsa.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Consider adding jalapeños for extra heat.
