Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground venison
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking
  • Sour cream, for serving
  • Salsa, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a little olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until softened.
  2. Add the ground venison, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; cook until the venison is browned and cooked through.
  3. Place a tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half with shredded cheese, add a portion of the venison mixture, and fold the tortilla over.
  4. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the tortilla is golden and the cheese is melted.
  5. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
  6. Cut into wedges and serve with sour cream and salsa.

Notes
