An easy and quick recipe for beef and broccoli, full of flavor and comfort, made in the Instant Pot.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch (optional for thickening)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- Combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and water in the Instant Pot.
- Stir well to coat the beef evenly with the sauce.
- Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Perform a quick release to release the pressure.
- Add the broccoli florets and close the lid again.
- Set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for an additional 2 minutes.
- Perform a quick release again.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and stir it into the pot for a thicker sauce.
- Serve the beef and broccoli over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds.
Notes
For best results, slice the beef thinly and consider marinating it for an hour in soy sauce and sesame oil.
