Description

A warm and comforting Tater Tot casserole, featuring seasoned beef, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, and crispy tater tots.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag of tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the ground beef mixture evenly.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Arrange tater tots on top of the cheese, covering it completely.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes, until tater tots turn golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider using garlic powder or Italian herbs. Allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes after baking for easier serving.
