- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
- 1 cup Shredded Carrots
- 1 cup Chopped Bell Peppers
- 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
- 8 Sheets Rice Paper Wrappers
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the lean ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
- Stir in soy sauce and hoisin sauce, combining well.
- Add shredded carrots, chopped bell peppers, and fresh basil leaves, mixing everything together until heated through.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the water for about 10-15 seconds, or until soft.
- Remove the wrapper and place it on a clean surface.
- Spoon some of the beef mixture onto the lower third of the wrapper.
- Fold in the sides and roll it up tightly, starting from the bottom.
- Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Serve the rolls fresh with a dipping sauce of your choice.
Notes
For added variety, try substituting different proteins or herbs, and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
