Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a tablespoon of sugar. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes, watching for it to get foamy.
  2. Add the melted butter, remaining sugar, eggs, and salt to the mixture. Gradually mix in the flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about one hour or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Roll the dough into a 16×12-inch rectangle. Spread the softened butter over the rolled-out dough, ensuring even coverage.
  6. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture on top of the butter, creating a delightful filling.
  7. Roll the dough tightly from the long side, then cut it into 12 equal rolls.
  8. Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and allow them to rise for an additional 20 minutes.
  9. Bake the rolls at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  10. Mix the powdered sugar and milk to create the glaze, then drizzle it over the warm rolls right before serving.
