Description

A comforting and creamy casserole made with tender broccoli, Velveeta cheese, and a crunchy Ritz cracker topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of broccoli, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup of Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, cook the broccoli until tender.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cubed Velveeta cheese, milk, cream of mushroom soup, and cooked broccoli.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle the cracker mixture over the top of the broccoli and cheese mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, chop fresh broccoli evenly and consider experimenting with various toppings for added crunch.
