- 8 ounce (227 g) s (225 grams) goat cheese
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) (50 grams) dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (14 grams) olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add ground venison to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Season the venison with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In a bowl, mix goat cheese with chopped dried cranberries.
- Add the cooked venison to the goat cheese mixture and stir to combine.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the venison and goat cheese mixture.
- Arrange the filled jalapeños on a baking sheet.
