  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cans (300 g each) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 454 g uncooked egg noodles (1 lb)
  • 227 g sour cream

Instructions

  1. Coat the beef cubes with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; put them aside for later use.
  2. Place a large pan on medium-high heat. Cook the chopped onion in the heated pan until it becomes soft and clear. Add the seasoned beef and cook until it is brown on all sides. Remove any extra fat. Mix in the condensed mushroom soup, lower the heat to a gentle simmer.
  3. At the same time, fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring it to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook until they are soft yet still firm, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. As the noodles finish cooking, blend the sour cream into the beef mixture.
  5. Drain the noodles and place them on a serving dish with raised edges. Pour the beef and sauce mixture over the freshly cooked noodles to serve.
