Ingredients
- Fresh jalapeño peppers
- Ground venison
- Pimento cheese
- Spices (garlic powder, onion powder, cumin)
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the jalapeño peppers in half and remove the seeds.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add ground venison, cooking until it is browned.
- Mix in pimento cheese and spices, stirring until well combined.
- Stuff the jalapeño halves generously with the venison mixture.
- Place the stuffed peppers on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the tops are slightly golden.
- Serve warm as an appetizer.
Notes
For a milder flavor, remove most of the seeds from the jalapeños or use milder peppers like Anaheim.
