Delightful cookies infused with the cozy flavors of apple cider, perfect for fall.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup apple cider
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 12 tbsp apple cider (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and apple cider. Mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  6. Gently fold in the diced apples using a spatula.
  7. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool before drizzling with the apple cider glaze made from powdered sugar and apple cider.

Notes

Using fresh apple cider enhances flavor. Chill dough for chewier cookies.
