- Egg, 1 large

- Breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup (60 ml) (25 grams)
- Oil for cooking, 1 tablespoon (15 ml) (15 milliliters)

- Lettuce leaves, 4

Instructions
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Add the egg to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined.
- In a saucepan, cook blackberries over medium heat until they break down, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, salt, black pepper, and breadcrumbs until evenly combined.
- Form the beef mixture into four equal patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a cheddar cheese slice on each patty to melt.
- Toast the burger buns in a separate pan or toaster.
- Assemble the burgers: place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun.
- Add a tomato slice on top of the lettuce.
- Place the cheese-topped beef patty on top of the tomato.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the top of the patty.
- Spoon the cooked blackberries over the cream cheese layer.
- Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.
