Ingredients

- 4 small boneless (skinless) chicken breasts (about 150–170 g each / 5–6 oz)
- 8 slices of bacon (thin or regular cut)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- ½ teaspoon of onion powder
- ½ teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- ½ cup of finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Lightly grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment.
- Place the chicken breasts in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
- Add garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Italian seasoning, pepper, and salt.
- Toss well to coat each chicken breast evenly.
- Press the grated Parmesan onto all sides of each chicken breast.
- Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, slightly overlapping and tucking the ends underneath.
- Place the wrapped chicken seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Optionally, switch the oven to broil (grill) for 2–3 minutes to crisp up the bacon.
- Let the chicken rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.
- Sprinkle with parsley before serving, if desired.
Notes
For a crisper bacon finish, broil briefly at the end of cooking. Allowing the chicken to rest helps juice redistribution.
