- 1/4 cup (60 ml) balsamic vinegar (60 milliliters)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil (60 milliliters)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Dijon mustard (15 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey (15 grams)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) blue cheese, crumbled (75 grams)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) breadcrumbs (30 grams)
- 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s fresh parsley, chopped (8 grams)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) butter, melted (14 grams)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper.
- Place flank steak in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a separate bowl, mix crumbled blue cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and melted butter.
- Remove steak from marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides of the steak with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.
- Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the steak to a baking sheet.
- Spread the blue cheese mixture evenly over the top of the steak.
