Description

A luxurious and comforting dish featuring tender butter poached lobster tails served over perfectly cooked linguine with a silky sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic.
  3. Split the lobster tails in half lengthwise and season with salt and pepper. Add them to the butter mixture and poach gently, spooning the butter over the lobster until cooked through (about 8-10 minutes).
  4. Toss the cooked linguine with the lemon juice and a bit of the butter sauce.
  5. Serve the lobster tails over the linguine, drizzled with more butter sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding herbs or spices to the butter while it melts. For creamy sauce lovers, add a splash of cream to the butter sauce for extra richness.
