Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add onion and garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until they soften.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth and well incorporated.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef layer.
- Prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix with ¾ cup cold milk according to package directions.
- Spoon the biscuit dough evenly over the casserole, ensuring it covers the beef and cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuit topping is golden and cooked through.
- Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and brush it over the hot biscuit topping.
- Allow the casserole to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
