- 2 cups shredded leftover rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine the shredded chicken, breadcrumbs, cheese, onion, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Form the mixture into patties of desired size.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider baking the patties at 375°F until golden brown. Wet your hands when forming patties to prevent sticking.
