- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 4 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Prepare all your ingredients: mince the garlic, grate the ginger, and slice the cabbage into thin strips.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly wilted.
- Pour in the low-sodium soy sauce, mixing well, and allow it to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry before serving, and top with chopped green onions.
Notes
For an extra kick, consider adding red pepper flakes. Adjust soy sauce based on your sodium preference.
