Description

A creamy and flavorful cheesy dip combining ground beef, vibrant veggies, and rich cheeses, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can black beans (15 oz), drained and rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add the diced bell peppers and onions to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low and stir in the cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Add the cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes with green chiles, black beans, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir well until everything is combined and melted.
  5. Serve hot with tortilla chips for dipping.

Notes

Customize the heat with jalapeños or hot sauce. For a vegetarian version, substitute the meat with quinoa or additional beans.
