Description
This Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Dip is a rich and creamy dessert dip perfect for parties and family movie nights, featuring a delightful blend of cream cheese, butter, sugars, and chocolate chips.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz block of cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix on low speed to prevent a sugar cloud, then increase to medium speed until well blended and fluffy.
- Gently fold in the miniature chocolate chips using a spatula, avoiding overmixing.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- Before serving, sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top for presentation. Serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzels, or fresh fruit.
Notes
For variations, you can add chopped nuts or flavored extracts. Adjust sweetness by modifying sugar amounts as desired.
