- 1 box Rotini pasta (3–4 cups)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 diced white onion
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp cajun seasoning
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Fully cook the ground beef in a large pot. Once fully cooked, drain any excess oil from the pot.
- Add the cajun seasoning, diced onion, and minced garlic to the ground beef. Cook for 5 minutes or until the onions become soft.
- Mix in red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste, stirring well. The ground beef will turn a dark red color.
- Add the Rotini pasta and beef broth to the mixture. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Cover the pot with a lid and cook for 15-18 minutes or until the pasta softens.
- Remove the lid and add the heavy whipping cream along with shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well until the cheese melts and the pasta becomes creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot and enjoy the satisfying flavors.
Notes
For variations, consider swapping ground beef with turkey or chicken and adding vegetables for extra nutrition.
